Went record shopping for the first time in what seems like forever and picked up Gastr Del Sol's Camoufleur and David Daniell & Doug McCombs' Sycamore, the latter of which I've never heard but bought on a whim because of my appreciation for Tortoise and Knoxville. Was hoping to find Back Door's debut, since it's a pretty prog-centric store, but alas.
Went on a journey to Breakaway, End of an Ear, and Friends of Sound with the gf. Got Trans Am's The Surveillance, Aerial M's self-titled LP, Pullman's Turnstyles & Junkpiles and Viewfinder, and (the real treasure of today) Anthony Braxton's The Montreux/Berlin Concerts. Saw an original issue of Mingus' The Clown, but the pricetag was $200. Gf got X's Los Angeles and Wild Gift and Dr. John's Gris Gris. Also picked up a copy of Celine Dion's Let's Talk About Love entry in the 33 1/3 series.
