Best album especially as it's not as annoyingly clever-clever as other releases. Fave track: Drugs.
junodog4Doesn't have the instantly recognizable singles, but features deeper, more challenging work. Wonderful.
lightmyway 05/15/2012 01:38A really spooky and energetic album, this is basically one that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
paladisiac 12/09/2011 16:07Yes, there is a pop sensibility to their music, but fear of music is the least-geared toward the pop world, with the closest song to a hit being "life during wartime". As funky as other talking heads music with some slight ventures into psych-spook ("air") or a little further into the "afro" side of "afro-pop" ("i zimbra"), it's a kinetically-energetic album.
'bout time "Air" was dealt with. Eno's art is all over the place. Love the bass lines.
A bright package full of plenty of surprises! Whats very surprising about this album is how accessible it is, the tracks on it are catchy as well as smart. That first track was fantastic too! Put me in a great mood for listening to this album.
This album made me reconsider animals...think they're so smart!
