Never even heard of it before today, just listened to half of side a and half of side b in the store, so I haven't formed an opinion. If you're a fan of Mazurek's other efforts, or enjoy Sun Ra material from the '60s, you'd enjoy this.

10 quid for the pair, both from Bens in Guildford. Amazingly (and don't laugh) I'd never heard ...Bright Lights until this time yesterday. Christ it's terrific (and upon listening doesn't look like this copy's ever been played until now).


Trans-Europe Express by Kraftwerk (41/100 - already owned it on CD but for what I paid for it I couldn't resist)


Kimono My House by Sparks


Substance by New Order

10 quid for the 3, from Russell's Records in Bordon. Great haul, especially when you realise the latter alone is going for minimum ยฃ20 on Discogs

And one via Discogs from the land of Peter Schmeichel, fairy tales and bacon:

Those The Glow Pt 2, and Emergency & I albums I've been waiting to see used at vintage and other places in STL for like years. When I tried to order a copy of the Glow it was like 50 bucks so I'm happy as hell I found it for 8 bucks.

Also as a side note last night I met a new staff at vintage. Her name is Katie. She's slim and has red hair and was wearing a super cute Stax T. We talked about work and NWA and policemen, and "Trainwreck" and "Jaws" and Spike Lee, and her new job at Vintage and my job at the Tivoli. We exchanged jokes and it was amazing. And I'm a dork. So I need need NEEEEED to stop the emotional bullshit before it's too late, cuz I'm already in a state where I can't stop thinking about her. Just now I bypassed getting food during my 20 minute break so I could run back to vintage to see if she's there. She wasnt. And I'm hungry. So yeah I need to pump the breaks. But I so am going to talk to her again and ask her out. Wish me luck.

(Sigh) she's just so beautiful though...
