Definitely better than the 66 rating it has. Not as good as Mechanical Animals, but it was quite a breath of fresh air for it's time.

Manson has gotten buried underneath the whole shock artist thing, but he was behind some great albums in the 90's. I'll admit he hasn't aged well over the last 15 years or so though.

I liked it years ago and I still think some tracks are fine, but as a whole it gets dull.
Track picks: Beautiful People, Wormboy, Cryptorchid.

The controversy seems like a whole bunch of bluster over nothing... Look past it, and this is a quality album.
