I've been listening to this almost constantly the last 4 days or so. And goddamn it's absolutely marvelous! I'd like to thank whoever nominated this album for our upcoming tournament, cuz that's what turned me onto it enough to finally listen. It's visceral, extreme, engaging, metal heaven. Picked up this afternoon from the always great People's Sound on the All Saints Road in Ladbroke Grove. Had a good natter with Prince, the really friendly dude behind the counter, about all things Studio One and how 'the you't of today' don't know what they're missing. I even helped him sort out his displays when he had to move half the shop around just to get my record out the window. Irie fella and an absolute gent.
Massive thanks to Norm for getting me into this record in the first place. Just been repressed - only 500 copies - so decided to call ahead to HJs and put one aside whilst driving down the M1 en route home from Leeds.
