About album of the day: The BestEverAlbums.com album of the day is the album appearing most prominently in member charts in the previous 24 hours. If an album, or artist, has previously been selected within a x day period, the next highest album is picked instead (and so on) to ensure a bit of variety. Sunburn is like a 4/10 song making it one of the best tracks this band has ever released
Totally. Some (not many) from Muse may be as good or even better, but no song has emulated this one.
The rest is mostly hit and miss but still it is a strong debut and shows the direction the band was taking, a direction I hope they find again on their upcomming album.
Muse was my favourite band as an angsty early-teen. Recently went back and listened to their older shit and their first two albums hold up as decent alt-rock fare. They were a fun band when they didn't take themselves so seriously.
There's a sharp drop-off with Absolution. They disappeared all the way up their own arseholes and haven't been seen since.
Are BEA getting lazy? This has been the album of the day for 3 straight days.
Or maybe they are just implying that this is the Best Ever Album. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
