Demolished Thoughts by Thurston Moore
A great album. I almost got this a week before its release date. The record shop I frequented at the time had it in, ready to sell on its release, and I was chatting to the owner. I mentioned that I'd likely not be back for a few weeks and he told me he'd sell me it now as long as I kept it quiet. Got it home and excitedly listened to it. Didn't sound like Thurston Moore. Discovered he'd put the wrong CD in the case. Went back several weeks hence and he told me he'd come out to chase me down the street but I'd gone. Close, but no cigar!
