This and Chief's hyperbole on the rating system used is quite possibly the best thing written on BEA.
I'm honored.

Yeah, I much prefer Curtis Mayfield's "Pusherman" he just walks right up to you on the street, unsolicited, with copious amounts of narcotics for sale or sample

I believe that 2010's is by far best decade in the work of Nick Cave and his last 2 albums are his best 2.
As a Cave fan I have to strongly disagree. 80s and 90s were surely better, and although his last 2 are definitely great, some of the best albums of the decade maybe, I don't think they are better than From Her To Eternity, Tender Prey, Let Love In or Henry's Dream. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
Today is really great. Not a bad track and it flows really nicely too. I'd have to go with Pet Sounds of the two though just because it has God only knows and I just wasn't made for these times on there. Those tracks have stayed with me since I was 17 but the rest has faded a bit.
Actually I slightly prefer All Summer Long to Today. It has some painfully obvious filler on there but for me it's the album that captures the youthful energy and fun of early Beach Boys the best.

I knew this would be disagreed with. Personally I'm not a fan of his 80's work, The Good Son is his first album I truly enjoy and the 90's were fantastic, but with these new ones I feel he reached another level. _________________ All time

Yeah I guess The Birthday Party and his first 4 with the Seeds can be too noisey and experimental to some, but I think they're incredible. It's just a matter of preference. The Good Son was my very first Nick Cave album, and it's truly great. I basically like all of his stuff, and he's had a very diverse career thus far, so there's something for everyone. However I think most of BEA would agree with you since Skeleton Tree is his highest rated album here, which is odd, but I guess people just haven't listened to anything besides his 2010s work. And the whole ranking of his albums is strange, at least to me as a fan, since I've never considered The Boatman's Call to be one of his best, and Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus is very good but it sits at number 3 I think, which is baffling. And Henry's Dream wasn't in the top 10 last time I checked, I mean what are we talking about...
Sorry for the rant ๐คฃ _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart

Suppose that's the difference between New York and Chicago.
According to Rodriguez, dealers in Detroit are always late too. _________________ Doubles & Conch
