OK, after reviewing a couple of dozen albums from the year, I have come up with a top 5 for 2010 that I am happy with. Whether or not anybody else will be happy with it; well, I don't know. It's going to be a brutal listening experience.
This is definitely my number one, and one of the most relistenable albums in the past decade. Solid tracks throughout and good variety. This one will be easy to digest.
Yeah. This will most likely be in my top five as well. I would have ZERO problems with this as our AOTY, and if it doesn't make our top five I'd be pretty surprised. This and Teen Dream are the gimmies for this year.

It's going to take me a while to get to a top five. Right now I'm going through my collection, and my draft chart is currently 52 albums long, with 10 still to revisit and add. Then I'll have to catch up on the albums from my to-do list that I've overlooked. The only thing currently in my top five that's not one of the usual suspects is this, which is at #5 right now and thus could easily be knocked out of my final list. This is pretty cool. I might not go all the way with this project cuz too many projects at the same time is a bit much. I listened to a bunch of music once and then realized I listened to music from 2010 and then made this list... actually if I remember right I had this diary or something and baystate basically said, hey if you are making decade charts, can't you make year charts from them? Nails delivers a calculated 13 minute beatdown. Every song is another body blow. At least it's over quick.
That Nails album is dope as fuck. Not a part of my usual wheelhouse, but damn is this some relentless stuff. Though to be honest there 2013 and 2016 albums were better.
..yet? I think 1Chief in particular might dig it. My brain hasn't really wrapped it's head around it quite yet, but when I do I'll let you know what I think. It's epic!

Honestly surprised that no one’s mentioned it beyond just this yet. Then I guess I’m biased. Thanks so much for the inclusion and earlier posts involving yours truly. Great to see that people are enjoying the albums I decided to revisit and finish off.
