How about what is among the most beguiling, unique, profound and emotional rock albums in existence?

"The most lunar album ever made" --John Balance on Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom

Nautical or womb-like might be a little more accurate but the idea is pretty much the same. Anything that gives us a reason to revisit or learn anew one's awe over this supreme masterpiece -- a work that is so personal, singular and utterly miraculous, that the likes of it will never be heard again.

Here's a link to the album as well. It contains the greetings, sounds of earth, and all of the music. The images included on the record are shown as well.

I've tried to find some corresponding albums for some of the obscure folk recordings, but some are tough.

I found a source for the Pygmy girlsโ€™ initiation song. Itโ€™s listed as โ€œAlima Songโ€, track 13:

Itโ€™s already on the site, too!
