Why are the interlude tracks missing from Fear Inoculum?

On Tool's page, Fear Inoculum doesn't have any of the interlude tracks listed, but all the other albums do? Why is this?

I believe BEA's track listing is based on Fear Inoculum's physical release, which doesn't include "Litanie contre la peur", "Legion Inoculant", or "Mockingbeat".

I don't personally own a physical copy of Fear Inoculum, but I've seen it before (awesome packaging, it has a little TV on the cover and a speaker which plays an additional song which isn't listed on BEA's track listing, and I don't believe it's available on spotify/itunes/other digital releases).

This is sort of a long video but it shows the physical release in full and might help explain some of the differences between the physical and digital releases of the album.

Edit: as an aside, I'm not big on Tool so if anyone can correct me on any of this, feel free to. I do love cool packaging though and this is up there as one of the coolest.

Huh. So only a digital version has the interlude tracks? Strange.

That's my understanding. Agreed that it's strange.

That's a cool package if I've ever seen one.
