This took me much longer than I expected + there are still many albums I have yet to listen to, but I reached a point when I'm ready to focus on other stuff (2020, 2010s!)
Can't really say these are my "recommendations" to you (plenty of hip hop, folk, and other stuff that relies on lyrics), but I tried to make a bit of an overview of Slovenian music. Also added comments for each. 1 album per artist. Also made a spotify list (link in chart description), but seeing as many artists are missing, might make a YT one later on too.
mentioned this on the chart proper but just wanna reiterate i love this shit. probably my favorite chart of yours except for maybe the ex-yugo one. really appreciate the notes both for your insight and also becuase otherwise I'd be completely lost haha

Ayy cheers, thanks. Yeah I think I had to make comments here. In general it's hard to say this is my list of recommendations, but hope you can find something you like. The ex-yugo chart is hopelessly outdated, if nothing else the Slovenian chart now includes some things that are missing there
decided to reconstruct my decade charts in chronological order, and lmao AM when did you add 1940s album charts? Not sure I've honestly heard enough 40s albums to make an authentic 100 entry chart where I genuinely like everything, so decided to keep this one at 50 (until such a day as I've heard a fuckload more albums from the mostly pre-album era lol)

I think for the first time ever I've listened to over 100 albums from a single year. Such has been lockdown during the pandemic.

I think I listened to about 200 total albums from 2020, and I feel fairly confident picking out 100+ that I actually like. I've also added notes to every album in the chart for the first time ever for me!
