Both this and Deja Vu are two of my favorites new albums I've discovered these past months. Though I prefer the latter, this one unquestionably is FULL of winners - and definitely deserves the praise its gotten this past half century!!!
Then again, I'm a sucker for this kind of style, so one probably wouldn't be surprised.

Concur that Deja Vu is the better album, but my most beloved CSN tracks are here.

I love Déjà Vu, but this album is nearly perfect and stronger on the whole. I think Déjà Vu gets rated ahead of this because it has Young’s name stamped on it. That’s my best guess, because I don’t understand the greater love it receives. It doesn’t have any songs quite as good as “Guinnevere” or “Wooden Ships”, it has “Teach Your Children” (which is nausea-inducing and bears a strong resemblance to the crud the Eagles were shoveling), and it has some weak filler that this album lacks (except for “49 Bye-Byes”).
