On my public profile I love all respectable music but there's also another part of me that listens for hours to artists like:

Charli XCX
FKA Twigs
Grimes
Lorde
Britney Spears
SOPHIE (RIP)
Caroline Polachek
Tove Styrke

What do I like about these artists? Well beyond being the preeminent purveyors of electropop bangers, basically I like the placement of the kick and the synth sounds and arpeggios made by the synths + the vocal melodies are pure bliss. It's mostly just very simple, and while it is a lot of I IV V VI there's cool sections that break this that add harmonic variety.

I do like the more art pop stuff found in FKA Twigs and SOPHIE but tbh I like the bangers as well.

I'm desperate to find any more stuff like these artists.
