I gotta say, "The Passenger" is great but otherwise I find this album lackluster. As a whole, I MUCH prefer The Idiot, released only a few months prior.

I. on the contrary, don't think The Passenger is that good, even though it's undeniably a great song. However, I really like the whole album and prefer it over The Idiot by a little.

Yeah it's funny which Iggy music I prefer. The Idiot and Lust for Life both essentially had the same writing/production teams, but I think Bowie's influence shines a bit more on The Idiot.

I've never been a fan of The Stooges, but I am a big fan of so much that Bowie has done, so the collaboration of Iggy and Bowie always struck me as very interesting.
