Hadestown by The Original Broadway Cast
I think I mostly prefer this to the concept album. André De Shields is a different fit for Hermes than Ben Knox Miller, (IMO Shields is better), and Eva Noblezada has a better voice than Anaïs Mitchell, so she's a much better Eurydice for my ears, despite Mitchell writing it all. Justin Vernon was just soooo great as Orpheus though, I wish I could've heard some sort of combination between the concept album and the Broadway recording. Also of course the 2-hr musical has a lot of filler compared to the concept album. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
