This is my favorite recording of Anaïs Mitchell's masterpiece Hadestown, originating as the concept album in 2010 and having now two additional cast recordings on its way to Broadway. This is the first and only complete recording of the piece, and I'm very happy they decided to record and archive the entire show on this recording. The mixing and mastering is wonderful, and the singers are top-notch. Brilliant piece that will go down in both theatrical and music history.
