my fave Stones album
bluesy, earthy and powerful
even fun in places
even though it is serious as well

Incredible albums, lots of hidden treasure between the iconic bookend tracks (probably the strongest bookends ever together with Highway 61 Revisited).
The closer is still, one of the most perfect songs in creation.

Up to this point, Let It Bleed is my least favorite of the 4 consecutive classic Stones albums. Still very good and I think it’s incredibly successful at sort of cementing the Stones’ direction at the time.

And yes, the bookends are awesome. Gimmie Shelter is one of my favorite tracks ever.

Excellent album. Loaded with great Stones' songs. Monkey Man is killer good.
