Despite the name, this band doesn't sound like the Pixies at all - and what's more, it's not a good idea to light big signs on fire in the middle of a forested area, whether or not they have your band's name on them.
I like the album, but there's very little information out there about this band (they're not the one from Milwaukee), and their Bandcamp page claims they "wish to remain anonymous to protect the innocent." They also have an odd habit of making their songs exactly the same length (the first six tracks on this album are all 4:22; on an earlier EP, all tracks were 3:16). Along with the unerring consistency of the (whispery, reverb-heavy, female) vocals, this leads me to suspect that the album, and possibly all of their recorded output, is AI-generated.
