To be honest, not an album which has resonated with me. I love Radiohead and don’t dislike this album it’s just never grabbed me. Maybe I need to revisit and give it another try

don't like this album anymore. songs of poor quality, nothing-experiments and melodies that pale in comparison with both their previous stuff and of the time.

Finally, an album of the day II have something to say about!
It's a pretty good one, and what II personally like about the album the most is the band's more personal approach of making the songs for it. It feels more raw, flowing and comfort-zoned.

There are a bit too many tracks and some of them span a bit too long, so it took quite a while for me to listen to the album as a whole instead of making different tracklists and omitting tracks off them.
"There, There" is one of Radiohead's highlights of their whole career, as it has a climatic progression which mingles with the dirty guitar sound.
"Sit Down, Stand Up" gives you goosebumps before the outro approaches.
"Scatterbrain" feels really melancholic and the guitar melody is good! II think it's one of Radiohead's most underappreciated songs.
Also "I Will" and "We Suck Young Blood" feel insanely melancholic, yet quite chill. II really like it!
"2 + 2 = 5" is a great and iconic intense opening track, and "A Wolf at the Door" is an awesome intense closing track and also melancholic too, but a little less. Intense + melancholic = a very interesting combination.
As far as II recall, songs like "Where I End And You Begin" and "Myxomatosis" might sound better or at least more vibrant than the original studio versions by being faster-paced a bit, still both are enjoyable.
The only track that II don't like from the album is "The Gloaming" which has a grating electronic percussion and a grating electronic melody after the chorus ends.

II feel this album is one of Radiohead's best taking the 4th place and up close there with OK Computer for me.
It might not be considered Radiohead's best, but it feels to me like a pinnacle in the ridge of Alternative Rock. A great achievement! And as far as II know; yet no alternative rock album have sounded closer to "Hail to the Thief"!
This album feels like going through a trip in the woods and reflecting about life.
If you haven't listened to it yet, II really recommend you to since it might touch you in some spots, as the album contains quite a lot of Radiohead's most emotional music.

Thank you for reading! Applause

Very underrated.
It's better than "In Rainbows".

Favourite tracks: "Where I End and You Begin", "The Gloaming", "A Punchup at a Wedding", "2 + 2 = 5", "There There".
