II guess II'm gonna post this everytime II see someone listening to this album  :
Possibly my favorite Black Sabbath album!
Dropping the tuning to C Sharp has done wonders to their songs! Since the C# Minor key is capable of producing nocturnal and vampirical ambiences.
Even to this day, downtuning has become very common in metal afterwards! And the genres: doom metal, stoner rock, sludge metal etc. are reminiscent of most of this album's songs, and these genres were formed about 20 years later after the album came out! Which proves how influential Black Sabbath has been in the soundscapes of metal, along how heavy this whole album sounds for it being released in 1971, which made it quite ahead of its time!
One of the greatest albums of the very early era of metal music, which Black Sabbath themselves had been constructing and they still remain the cornerstone of the whole genre!
