And Your Bird Can Sing
I love the harmonies on this song. According to Wiki, Lennon was dismissive of the song thinking of it as a “throw away”. I really rather like it but what do I know? Another article referred to a similarity with the Byrds, which I think that there certainly is.
Overall, a good track

The "giggle version" on Anthology Vol. 2 sounds even more like The Byrds — it's like they're trying to copy the guitar sound as precisely as possible, which they could do because they had Rickenbackers.
Personally I never owned a Rickenbacker though, or any semi-hollow, so I should try to be less judgmental.

I’ll have to check that out. I own vol. 2 so gonna play that, probably tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. Fascinating stuff

For No One
AKA “Why Did It Die? Another Paul love song but for me, far much more interesting lyrically as it’s about the lose of love.
Feels similar to Yesterday and is one of the best songs on Revolver. (What feels like) A simple song performed very well
I’m bound to be corrected on this but I understand that George and John were not on the recording.

You are correct on this one. John and George didn't make tracks without the others: Paul (especially later) often did.
Makes sense on this one: there are no guitars and no backing vocals.
Lennon one said he really liked this song. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Doctor Robert
Has a slight earlier era Beatles sound to it which I quite like in the context of the rest of the album as in it feels like a less experimental track than many of the others on the album.
I rather like the experimentation, but this has turned out to be one of my favourite tracks on the album.
Very straightforward and I rather like John’s vocals on this track.

I Want To Tell You
I really like the harmonies on this and the discordant nature of parts of the song. I guess I just find George more interesting than the other members of the band.
Written, I understand, after an LSD “experiment”. He was of course, also getting into Indian music and instruments.
A really lovely track which is far too short. You can image this going on far longer in the studio / at rehearsals.

Got To Get You Into My Life
Not just one of my favourite tracks on Revolver but also one of my favourite Paul McCartney compositions. One of those songs that noodles it’s way onto your brain from the outset. It also finishes way too early.
Love the use of brass on the track and the soul(ish) vibe they bring which also links into a great cover by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Love this track
