The massive amount of reverb modernizes the semi-synthesized sound of S.S.H. by sounding more ethereal.
The synthesized-guitar never repeats the same melody and shreds a lil bit, which broadens the sonic immersion.
The F Minor key choice definitely fits the other aspects of this instrumental, which maximizes the outer space deep-diving ambience of it.
No wonder S.S.H. is one of the most respected video game music arrangers in the doujin scene! He takes a melody and expands it to the max.
The album this musical piece is from might be showcasing some of his best work: It's all original compositions for the doujin game "Project Cerberus", although it has only 6 tracks from the game, which has made it easier to rate all the other pieces and is currently my 4th favorite album of all time.
