I love both, and it's probably wrong to compare the two, but it was a easy Nas pick for me.

Joni Mitchell is another good entry in her genre, but Nas is the king of his.

Mitchell, for consistency, although she has never released an album as good as Illmatic from what I've listened to.

I also prefer 'Blue' to anything Nas has done (Illmatic is great, just not my favourite hip hop album).

Nas goes so much further than just 'Illmatic', he helped shape musical history and American culture - Joni Mitchell has just released some pleasant contemporary folk songs.

I think it's criminal that we're seeing the end of Nas at this stage of the competition.
