The Popul Vuh is the ancient history of the Pre-Columbian kingdom of the K'iche' Mayans. It's a story that goes all the way back to the creation of the world by the Quetzal Serpant Q'ukumatz, and tells the genealogy of the mayan kings of K'iche'. Personally, I think this is much more interesting than anything I could say about the band.

Veedon Fleece is my favourite Morrison album, and probably my favourite album left in this tournament. I love Popol Vuh, but easy vote to Van here. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I'm with Skinny. I've recently fallen in love with Veedon Fleece. It's Astral Weeks part 2. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

This is what I've been trying to say for fucking years, to anybody who'll listen. Moondance is awesome, but Veedon Fleece is clearly the rightful heir to Astral Weeks' throne and the title of Van's best album. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I still prefer Astral Weeks, but the to albums have an extremely similar feel. And that smooth double bass surely doesn't hurt. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

They're both two of the best albums ever made, but I have to be in the right mood for Astral Weeks, whereas I can put on Veedon Fleece at any time and be instantly transported. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Guh, I hate this choice. [insert German words here] is gorgeous, but I can't vote against one of Van Morrison's two masterpieces.

I love Einsjager, but Popol Vuh has made 3 or 4 better albums. Havent heard Veedon Fleece, and the door is open for it to win me over, but Van Morrison's music has never really touched me the way it has for others. Will listen to it tonight i think.

This is a tough one for me because I love Popol Vuh although Einsjäger & Siebenjäger is not one of their strongest efforts. On the other hand it is been quite a while since I've heard Veedon Fleece so a re-listen is in order... Will be back with the vote soon... _________________ "And can’t you see you’re in on it?
