That piano solo in the title track is just the loveliest thing.

What does this album sound like? It looks enticing enough but early '70s prog is so hit-or-miss that I'm skeptical. Any artists it resembles?

A more melodic Soft Machine. It's great. Go listen to it.

It's absolutely marvelous. I'm not very good at describing music but this is more or less the proof that prog can take itself not too seriously. Like, it's not at all like Yes or Genesis, I'd say it's poppier and jazzier, though I can't say I really know anything like it. I've discovered it a few days ago anyway and I've been spinning a lot since so I'm really glad it's AotD.

A total masterpiece that hasn't gotten old since I first started listening to it about two years ago.
