The only thing which interests me with Belle & Sebastian is some strange feeling I must like them. They got all these lyrics and then I listen to their albums and they never become favorites.

This is probably one of my lesser favorites of theirs. With that in mind, I like this quite a lot.

Until I changed my overall chart to one album per artist, this sat comfortably on the outskirts of my top 10. It's perfect, though I feel that way about the majority of Belle & Seb's stuff, it lacks the more poppy, janglyness of If You're Feeling Sinister, but they are every bit each others equals in very different ways at times, a perfect album by a perfect band.
