Gigantic told me that The Monsanto Years was a fun album, but it's obviously not on streaming. Is it worth downloading?

I heard it once before hetook everything off spotify that he could (not geffen stuff). I liked it. General consensus is its not great. If you are a big fan then you will enjoy otherwise there are plenty others of his to check. The best recent is psychedelic pill.

My second favourite album from the master Young after "On the beach". Its highlights are the long guitar driven "Down by the River" and "Cowgirl in the Sand", which proved so good that he tried to include one or two of this style in many of his subsequents classic albums.

A really great album. Neil's songwriting was really starting to go to the next level. One of his best.
