First off, I'm new, so don't lynch me if this is a repeat, but what unsigned and otherwise underground artists are there that you really just don't understand how they haven't taken off?
Prime example for me is Shizzy Sixx, who can be found on youtube. Both his official and crazy awesome unofficial (read: copyrighted subject matter, i.e. Dragonball Z, Pokémon, Anime, and videogames) work can be found there.
Sorry for not providing an example but apparently I haven't been around long enough.
