The draft is here today (about 2 or 3 weeks too late, but whatever)!
What will happen with Johnny Football and the other people I haven't been bothered to learn about?
Who do you want your team to draft?
What do you think about the schedule?
FOOTBALL!!!

I could care less about the Browns, but I do like Hoyer (he was Brady's backup) and was crushed when he suffered that ACL injury last year. I was watching the game when it happened. Just prior to the injury, he was lighting it up on the field so I felt pretty bad for him.
Speaking of ACLs and (relatively) young quarterbacks, sorry about (your?) Rams. What a fucking mess.
I imagine that's it for Bradford.
One week to kickoff!!!

NFL pre-game analysis at its best...
"You don't' fill Logan Mankins* shoes, but you can stand where he stood. Block where he blocked."
Thanks God the NFL is back! The analysts are comic geniuses I swear.
* Played Guard on the NE patriots' offensive line for the past nine years. Potential (but unlikely imo) Hall of Famer.

I really only follow NFL football because of fantasy football. I've been participating in FFL for 12 years now and really don't watch one single team. (My home team is the Lions so that may explain some of it!). I just watch ESPN highlights and to get stats for my players. I am more excited about college football. GO MSU! (Speaking of Hoyer).

Thank God I don't play fantasy football! I hear it's addictive as hell. I'm already strapped for time. Besides I really love just being obsessed with routing for one team. That takes up more than enough time. LOL.
I never realized how big college football was until I moved to Chicago. It's just not a thing in New England at all (although some people try to promote Boston College as our football school, trust me, no one gives a shit) or even the entire Northeast for the most part (Penn State probably being the biggest exception).

I was in three leagues a few years ago and it was ridiculous! Back to only one now. And it is addicting. The sad thing, it totally changes the way you watch a game. If you have players in that game you just want them to score points for you, you really don't care who wins or loses. It has ruined the NFL for me, that is why I stick to my college ball.

I've been watching the NFL less and less for the last decade. Finally got roped into a fantasy football league last year with a bunch of other Steelers fans. I intentionally drafted the most terrible team possible. Starting with the Steelers defense and then following with the convicted criminals of the league.
Football is easily my least favorite of the major team sports. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Yeah, a number of my friends have lamented to me about this. They're kind of jealous (well, as jealous as you can be about something so trivial) of my unencumbered passion for just one team. Compared to them I'm quite liberated on game day since they need fucking laptops whereas all I need is couple of good & spicy Bloody Marys.
