The first two tracks are stellar. The rest of the album doesn't match up to those standards. _________________

Agreed. She's got a lovely voice, but I don't get much out of this. _________________

Pretty good album, like others have mentioned the first two tracks are awesome. Rest of the album isn't that bad though and it's still an enjoyable listen.

Good. I don't see the first two tracks as being better than the rest of the album, just better known. Some very personable tracks near the end. Not all that inventive.

I think this is a wonderful album, and one of the great debut albums by a solo artist. Don't know why all the knocks on the songs after the 1st two. Imo, "Across the Lines", "Behind the Wall", "If Not Now", "Mountains of Things" and "For My Lover" are as good or better than "Talkin Bout A Revolution". And "Baby Can I Hold You" and "For You" are fine songs, too. Great voice. Too bad she never matched this album again.
