The Impossible Kid drops April 29th.

Here are the first 2 singles, both have pretty dope videos..

I'm pumped for this release. Aesop's been one of my favorites for a while now, however his last album wasn't the greatest in my opinion. These 2 tracks have me excited to see what's in store.

Rhymesayers also threw this track up on their Soundcloud.. Not quite sure if it's a throwaway or an alternative remix to something that'll be on the album. Either way it's worth checking out too.

Edit: This is a remix of Pusha T's track Untouchable.

yeah I like these singles as much if not more than anything off of Skelethon, which I found hugely disappointing tbh. But yeah I'm fairly excited for this. His album last year with Homeboy Sandman was pretty nice, so Aes hasn't lost it

There's something about Aesop Rock that just rubs me the wrong way. I find that in short bursts he's fine, but listening to an entire album has just become a chore for me, so much so that I just don't do it anymore. I get that he's technically proficient, but it's just never translated into much quality for me. Some years ago I thought he could become one of my favorite rappers, but his works have not aged well. And even with these new songs I get the "that's not bad" vibe, but it'd likely be exhausting for me to listen to a new full album from him.

Almost exactly my sentiments - couldn't have said it better.

I think I get what you're saying.. Maybe try out Daylight EP, it's short and straight to the point.

yeah it's a great EP. Particularly like how he totally reverses the lyrical tone and theme of the title track on track 2 while still working with mostly the same ingredients
