Weezer had a late career hot streak with Everything Will Be Alright In The End and The White Album. It's too bad that they effed it all up with Pacific Daydream.

Pretty much.

Also this is how I'd rank them (below).

Also I'm hopeful for the Black Album, but not really having any expectations either.

I actually don't share the opinion that the White Album was good... I felt it was a collection of B-sides left over from better/earlier days.

And I actually really like the Red album for post Pinkerton. I voted for the Red Album, but I suppose those three really could have taken the vote.

I didn't rate/rank any other album, but they easily would have been less than a 70. They are total garbage.

Weezer (The Blue Album) Weezer 1994 2 95.5
Everything Will Be Alright In The End Weezer 2014 1 93
Weezer (The Green Album) Weezer 2001 1 92.5
Weezer (The Red Album) Weezer 2008 4 92.5
Pinkerton Weezer 1996 2 91
Maladroit Weezer 2002 8 88
Weezer (The White Album) Weezer 2016 4 83.5
Make Believe Weezer 2005 10 80

Wow - white album is pretty shocking to me. Perhaps I need to listen to it more...

I know many said it was sugar pop bliss, but I really just felt it was B-Sides from their Green album or something. No real "radio hits" for a pop bliss album and really just mediocre altogether (imo of course).

I'd love to hear more about this white album point of view.

TBH White Album is only getting so many votes cause most people haven't listened to the others. Green, Maladroit, Everything Will Be Alright and White are all very good, any of them could get my vote, but I feel Maladroit is the most overlooked.

I'm pretty set on Green Album here. Then again, that was the album that my dad would play a lot when I was growing up, so that may just be nostalgia coloring things for me. There were some highlights off of the other post-Pinkerton things (none lately Sad ) but no complete album stands out to me as much.

Went to see Weezer live a few months ago. It was telling that they played two songs off of the album they were touring to promote, yet nine songs off of the Blue Album. And no songs off of Pinkerton.
