This wasn't a recent dream, but I once dreamed that I was at a K-Mart in Knoxville and I saw Kenny Chesney in there.
God bless you and him always!!!

P.S. Since Kenny is from the Knoxville area, anyone having such an experience with him for real is not impossible should they live in the east Tennessee area like I do. _________________ Me & my favorite singer James Otto

I met Flea in a Santa suite for a Christmas talent show at his music conservatory (about 20 people were there) and told Flea about how I wouldn't be able to make his bass lesson because my dad is dying. I shook his hand and Frusciante's that night. They sang Christmas Time (the Charlie Brown song together) and every Christmas I think of that time.
I then had lunch with Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Taylor Hawkins during a music video shoot. I then was at their album release party with about 200 other people.
Oh and I wore Nate Mendel's clothes he wore on the Time Like These music video as his double on that same shoot (and I play bass too).
That was real life though... which for some philosophers is a dream.
Sometimes I hear original music in my dreams. Once I saved the melody on my keyboard as soon as I woke up, but it only sounded good in the dream. Now whenever I have a lucid dream (when you're aware that you're dreaming), I pull out my iPod and try to listen for original music.

My dad is a composer and claims he has these dreams from time to time, sometimes waking up with an entire orchestral arrangement reverberating round his brain. Annoyingly I only seem to be able to write anything while I'm awake. Yesterday and I Can't Get No Satisfaction are the only other examples of sleep composition I can think of (I'm sure there are many.) It's a fascinating phenomenon.
I can't remember having a music dream apart from hearing new songs in my sleep but I never write them down or sing them into my phone because I forget them very quickly. I did have an ex-Girlfriend who had a recurring dream of having English 60s singer Cilla Black coming round for tea. It was a regular dream for her in the 1980s.
