The best rap album of the 2000s, at least in my opinion. It is the Doolittle of hip-hop music. That is, it sounds fun and upbeat on the surface, but the lyrics are dark and sinister. Madvillainy is like a comic book where the villains actually win.

My favourite songs are "Accordion", "Raid", "America's Most Blunted", "Money Folder", "Figaro", "All Caps", and "Rhinestone Cowboy".

i was not that into newer hip hop for a period and missed this album when it came out. i only recently heard it and oh boy am i glad i did its already a top 100 album for me. the beats are amazing the rhyming is top shelf. a truly artistic rap album.
