Pink Moon by Nick Drake is my no. 1 listened to album. I was kind of surprised by this but then again in a way it makes sense. It is a very somber, melancholy album that is beautifully played and deals with big themes (life and death), so i find myself putting it on when i want to put things in perspective. I love drake's voice its so somber and makes him sound very troubled, yet there is an underlying warmth to it that is also hopeful. You can hear a deep underlying sorrow in him, and somehow he is still able to see beauty in the world.
Also i recently purchased Black Saint and the Sinner Lady, and ever since i haven't been able to listen to anything else. Its such a great album and at least at the moment for every time i listen to another album i have to listen to black saint at least 3 times.
