Fantastic album! This is one of the, if not THE first album that successfully blended rock with classical music. This one is a true classic, and entertaining to THIS day!

Only heard this album for the first time last year, but for the 40 or so minutes I was listening, whilst out on the town and on buses, it was sublime. I love classical music anyway so the rock/classical fusion was nice.
I will definitely be listening again. In fact it's so good I put it in my top 100 '60's chart based on one listen.

Listened to this for the first time a few weeks ago. Will definitely have to listen again as there are a lot of musical details that can be missed with a number of prominent styles being mixed, and mixed well at that. Very sad to hear about Ray Thomas. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

Absolutely one of my favorite albums of all time. I love prog rock and this is one of the best prog albums ever made. The poetry of the lyrics is beautiful, the score is incredibly well done, it's moving, it's powerful, it's basically everything I could ever want out of a prog album. I can't even count the number of times I've listened to this. _________________ Progressive Rock

I know and love a few of its songs like Tuesday afternoon or Nights in white satin so I'm curious on this album. Will surely check it out.

I don't always believe this. Accordingly, what are the chances a Moody Blues album would be AotD the day after Ray Thomas died? Then again, it's possible BEA users were revisiting Days of Future Passed because he died, and put on their charts. Either way, I don't think Days of Future Passed being Album of the Day right after the passing of Ray Thomas is a coincidence.

Thought the same, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a case of everyone re-listening and adding Days of Future Passed to their chart. I can't say for 100% certain, but I think the same thing happened with an AotD at some point in the past. Maybe Prince? _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
