I still wish someone would make a short film of O'Malley's Bar. I 've always been able to picture it in my head pretty well.
I'd like to see the whole album made into an anthology film. Of course O'Malley's bar would appropriately be the longest segment.
But yeah, this is the album that got me into NCATBS. I had worked my way through the BEA top 100 a few years ago and decided to just start randomly picking out what I haven't heard in the top 1000. The album title caught my eye so I found it on YouTube and the rest is history. In an alternate universe this is in the overall top 100 along with nearly every other Bad Seeds album. To emphasize their brilliance, this can be my favorite of theirs one day and not even in my top 10 the next. Still it was enough to make me immediately fall in love and I've been hooked ever since.
