there are certain albums I always play in the summertime, becos they remind me of summers past or they have a very summery feel

Here's a few from me:

Beatles - Revolver
Beatles - Sgt Pepper
Beach Boys - Very Best Of
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Big Brother And The Holding Company - Cheap Thrills
Eagles - Best Of 71-75
Michael Jackson - Thriller
The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society
Bob Marley - Legend
Toots & The Maytals - 54-46 Was My Number: Anthology
Belinda Carlisle - Runaway Horses
The Killers - Hot Fuss

There's quite a few more I can think of.

Are there any albums you like to play in summer?
They don't even have to be summery in content.

Can't really think of a single album I do more in the summertime.

Whenever I go to the parks to chill there's often someone blasting more modern reggae (it doesn't typically feel well curated, rather a reggae radio/playlist on spotify or something. It typically sets the mood decent and all.

I suppose this song does come to mind and I suppose the more I think of it, soul/funk feels just right for the energy of summer:

Something like this too screams summer:

I think I must have heard these albums for the first time during summer, and that's probably why I like to play them in the summer.

Frantic City by Teenage Head

Wild Planet by The B-52's

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper

Metro Music by Martha And The Muffins

Are Here And More by The Kings

I like to play The Eagles best-of in the car in the summer, makes me dream of America.. (Guns'n Roses has the same effect, especially in the summer.)

Also:
Love : Forever Changes
The Beatles : Abbey Road, White album
The Beach boys: Friends, Sunflower, Pet Sounds, etc
Pink Floyd : Atom Heart Mother (side 2), Ummagumma (for the cover)
Neil Young : Harvest
Air : Moon Safari
Lionel Richie: Can't Slow Down
Christopher Cross : 1st Album

I don't think there's ever been a seasonal influence on what I listen to.
