Even after all these years, this is still the greatest emo album ever recorded, at least in my opinion. And as much as I adore The Blue Album, I think I slightly prefer this one. "Across the Sea" and "The Good Life" are my 2 favourite Weezer songs.

The Deluxe Edition only adds to Pinkerton's legacy. It contains some excellent b-sides and previously unreleased material, the best of which is "Tragic Girl".

I cannot stand this album. I listened to it several times over from 2010 - Present day and I just cannot see the appeal. Just feels like generic white boy whining about girl problems like wow so unique. It does have some monster riffs and I really do like those but, everything else is just so meh.

I don't relate with the album in the slightest and It inspired most garbage pop punk and emo bands in the early 2000's so that's even more gross.

Pretty much.

I do feel this album is a tad overrated, but totally terrific all the same. I just know there's some people who think this is the greatest album ever - the only good thing weezer ever did, etc... and that view point I find to be bunk.

Still great.

I really like the Red and Green albums... but Hurley and whatever other album was around that time needs to be removed from our memories. They near redeemed themselves with it'll be alright in the end or whatever that album was called. White was weak imo, and their latest returned to shit.
