Went back to both albums before voting. I like the Ariel Pink album, but I love the Perfume Genius album. Great songwriting and production throughout. While Ariel Pink generated a great hazy, psychedelic atmosphere, his lyrics were very uneven, and some were downright bad. _________________ Join us in the canon game :) / Add me on RYM

I have a bit of a problem with both these albums; The Ariel Pink sometimes has beautiful songs but I always have the impression that they’re meant to be a parody of those songs (or of the style of music it is meant to copy).
And Perfume Genius is just completely the opposite because it sounds so serieus and delf-indulgent.
But finally i have chosen for Ariel Pink.
And btw this was the last duo of albums in round one for me
