The epic shift to the Buckunham/Nick's version of the group that would be so successful blending catchy pop hooks into the rock, but somehow maintaining some depth and grit in the process. So different from the original Mac, it really is like it's own seismic debut album. As great and well received as it was though, it was something of a prelude to the even bigger Rumours.

Great album. Always tempted to throw it in my top 100. Being self titled is highly appropriate as this is a new beginning.

Lets all thank God for allowing Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham to join the band.
With Nicks' sultry voice and Buckinghams songwriting knack--they created some really amazing songs.
These 2 stimulated the core trio, turning the group into a hit making machine, when the band was about
to become a has-been.
The band created some really great blues-rock music, that created easy listening pop.
For me this album is 9/10. Absolutely worth listening to!

Classic album. Landslide is one of the best ballads I have heard and Rhiannon is pretty great too.

I definitely don't think the difference in quality between Rumours and this one is nearly as big as the ranking suggests.
