The only thing more surprising than me carrying a country album through multiple rounds 🙄 is that when I finally get around to voting against it, it's for a reggae album! 😲
And even more shocking than those two incomprehensible-to-me acts is that whichever of those emerges from this round will likely get my vote in the finals against whatever emerges from the other semifinal.

Seriously though, and whilst you could argue it's had something of a smooth ride through the tournament, the fact that people have been voting for it round-after-round just goes to show that wonderful musicianship, tip-top production and positive vibrations are sometimes all you need to make an LP stand out. It's a small and yet huge personal triumph for a genre I've spent years championing on BEA, and I kind of echo Fischman's sentiment in so far as it's often the albums people dismiss purely down to the fact they get pigeonholed into a specific genre that can sometimes spring the biggest of surprises.
I'd urge anyone who's dug Sounds Almighty to pick up a copy - it truly sounds almighty (!) on the black stuff, and the perfect antidote to a day spent stuck in traffic or on a sweaty service out of Waterloo. Music saves. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG

For those who think both albums are good, please consider the fact that one of these albums has likely sold 500 copies tops, was made on a shoestring and without the clout of major label backing and all the slick promo videos you can stream to your heart’s content on YouTube, has got as much chance of winning a Grammy as I have and 100% deserves to be here on merit, at least in my eyes.

Vote for the one that presses the right buttons for you though - or at least the one you feel deserves a break or has struck a chord.
I strongly disagree with the insinuation that Golden Hour doesn't 100% deserve to be here on merit. Who cares how mainstream or indie the records are? Why pay attention to narratives around the albums, such as the question of who deserves a win more?
