I used to hate this album, but I'm more indifferent about it at this point. "High Hopes" is a great song though.

Used to kind of hate this because some of my friends considered it on par with their 70's classic (they were all Gilmour purists who didn't care about the lyrics and thought The Final Cut was terrible). Truth is, this is a good album, with some beautiful lush soundscapes and a real sense of serenity. Some of the tracks are overlong though, and on the verge of being boring, and I was never the biggest fan of Gilmour's vocals.
High Hopes obviously is a total classic and head and shoulders above the rest here.
