Those Ash Riser hooks have aged terribly, but overall this album is excellent.

I remember very clearly going over to a buddy's house, and we both excited about this "new" rapper that we had heard of, and we both listened to "Rigamortis" for the first time, and immediately thought he was the greatest. I'm no longer friends with this person, but the memory still remains, which is nice. I'm happy that I can play my hipster card, and say that I really was listening to Kendrick pretty early on. 😁
