Growing up rocks because you learn how to explain your emotions, have good boundaries, not victim blame, and seek people that you can work with on artistic projects. It also means you can never listen to Pavement the same way again? Life is full of compromises. Anyway this is the first of three masterful records Pavement did, the most record collection worshippy but also the most unique drumming in their catalogue.

Pretty sure I'm missing something here. No need to explain if it's deeply personal, but please do if it's about the band members.

Just an XXXtentacion Domme chart comment pot shot. It's cheap but I thought it was funny.

Good shout, this as always been my favorite of theirs and the drumming is a big reason why. The solo drum part during the final chorus of Summer Babe may be my favorite moment on the album. I love all of Pavement's first four but this one feels so loose and relaxed.

I don't know what to say to this...? Somehow I still don't fully get it, but I try Wink

If it means that you have a strong personal connection to Slanted And Enchanted (or Pavement in general) then respect that way.
