Round about Midnight's day has finally, finally come. If you take a look at my chart, you will see that this is my highest Davis pick out of 4. The title track is transcendent. The rest of the tracks are wonderful. I remember that I listened to this album and Caravanserai each for the first time on the same day. One of the best eargasms I have ever had. Anyways, check out my chart, check out the album, and listen to more jazz!!!!

As I was saying the other day, this is the ideal place to begin discovering Miles Davis, much more accessible than Kind Of Blue.

This was the first early Miles album that really grabbed my ear.... and it still does to this day. In fact, I almost always hear something new and captivating every time I break it out.
