I can't say the exact moment when the live album gained traction, but you could thank RYM for that becoming big. Though, we became a little cooler where live albums aren't in there separate list.

So to check the ranking, Tamthebam was the first person to rate and listen to it. But by 2017 there has been more consistently more people listening and rating really highly.
Though it could be /mu that lead the push. Though I do not know the exact moment when this got highly regarded with music listeners.
