Months before it was released, the radio station I grew up listening to
was the only one anywhere to receive a test pressing of this album.
It was the first time it was aired anywhere and that night the title cut
was played in its 22 and a half minute glory. The phone lines went cRaZy
with people asking where they could buy this album. Already a big fan
of the three previous albums, I, too, wanted to know. After it came out at
the beginning of ‘75, I remember going around school telling people that
it was the future of music. The tour in April of that year was incredible.
