Good example of what a "beat combo" lineup can do without a drummer, or even a decent drum machine.
That said, this album has been overrated ever since Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love decided it was one of their favorite albums in the early 90s. It has some good tracks on it (my favorite is probably "Music for Evenings"), but the ones that are organ-dominated sound hopelessly dated (too much tremelo, FFS!), and Alison Statton's voice lacks presence, or substance, or whatever it is that makes some people's voices more compelling than others. Still, it's definitely worth a listen.
